    American Studies at Würzburg examines the United States within the broad frameworks of globally interconnected modernity. Our research and teaching accordingly focus on ecology and ecocritical approaches, processes of modernization in interaction with cultural production practices, mobility and immigration as well as critical race and gender studies.
